Caramedix currently has a staff of over thirty-five people including drivers, managers, EMT’s and accounting specialists. Each of our professional drivers is certified in elderly patient sensitivity, CPR, administering First-Aid, and defensive driving. Caramedix is constantly in search of growth through people. Prior to employment at Caramedix, all employees undergo a thorough criminal background check. Applicants must also submit to a pre-employment drug screen in addition to monthly drug screens throughout the duration of their employment with Caramedix.


Applicants with any felonies or misdemeanors that involve substance abuse, fraud, domestic violence, or violent crime are automatically removed from consideration.


For those who apply to be a driver with our team, we review the applicants driving record with reports provided by the California Department of Motor Vehicles and complete a thorough background check. Drivers are also required to be first aid certified. Applicants who are selected are not eligible to transport patients until the company has received a first aid certificate from either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.


Please note, each member of our driving staff is required to have the following


  • First Aid Certificate (must be valid and current)
  • CPR Certification (must be valid and current)
  • Standard pre-employment drug test
  • Alcohol Test Lab Results
  • California Driver’s license


All staff representing our business will be assessed, tested and thoroughly trained if required.
